Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

In this role, you will design, implement, and continuously improve the security technologies that protect Amusnet's infrastructure, systems, and products. As part of our 12-member Information Security team, you will play a key role in strengthening our security ecosystem across endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and corporate environments. You will work with technologies including EDR, SIEM, SOAR, DLP, NGFW, MDM, and IAM.

• Engineer, operate and continuously improve the security solutions protecting our data and ICT assets
• Design and implement solutions for secure access to data, applications, assets and services
• Automate detection, response and routine security operations to eliminate manual effort
• Lead the resolution of security incidents with root-cause analysis and preventative strategies
• Run vulnerability assessments and security audits and support penetration testing
• Partner with development teams to embed secure coding and secure-by-design practices
• Report security posture, risks and priorities clearly - up to senior management

THE SKILLS THAT WILL GRAB OUR ATTENTION:

• 5+ years in security systems engineering, including 3+ years hands-on with technologies such as EDR, SIEM, SOAR, DLP, MDM, NGFW, or CASB
• Strong background in IT, platform, or cloud engineering across Windows, Linux and macOS
• Deep understanding of network and system architecture from a security perspective
• Solid grasp of authentication and authorisation concepts (IAM, RBAC, MFA, SSO)
• Scripting skills (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash) and experience with configuration and IaC management tools (Ansible, Chef, Terraform)
• Experience with hyperscaler platforms (GWS/AWS) configuration and security concepts
• Experience with Kubernetes and general virtualization
• Communication skills that land with both engineers and executives

SKILLS CONSIDERED AS AN ADVANTAGE:

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Professional certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CEH)
• Experience in regulated industries (iGaming, fintech, telecoms) or with ISO 27001 / NIS2 environments
