Deputy Chief Accountant

As Deputy Chief Accountant, you will be the architect of financial integrity, ensuring our reporting is flawless. The true challenge of this role lies in bridging the gap between high-level financial strategy and precise operational execution within a complex SAP environment.

THE PERFECT TEAM MEMBER IS INSPIRED TO:

• Perform daily, monthly, and annual accounting operations in line with the requirements of the Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation 
• Prepare VAT and INTRASTAT returns
• Supervise Amusnet's accounting activities
• Perform month-end closing procedures, including reviews, in-depth research and follow-up; ensure the completeness, accuracy, and quality of the financial information
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS) and local Tax legislation
• Assist in the preparation of Annual financial reports and actively participate in the Annual audit
• Lead daily communication with the other teams

THE SKILLS THAT WILL GRAB OUR ATTENTION:

• University degree in Accounting/Finance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent command of English and computer skills (MS Excel, especially)
• 4-5 years of experience in the same or a similar position
• Experience with SAP and experience in a manufacturing company will be considered as an advantage
• A detail-oriented person with the ability to work with numbers and process financial information
