We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will play a role in supporting our software development and infrastructure operations. You will work with our DevOps team to streamline processes, automate tasks, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our systems.

THE PERFECT TEAM MEMBER IS INSPIRED TO:

• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Participate in the management and deployment of containers using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Help maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm)
• Automate repetitive tasks and streamline deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD
• Collaborate with developers to improve the efficiency of software development, testing, and deployment
• Support the maintenance and monitoring of system performance, security, and uptime (We are using the Grafan stack - Grafana Agetn/Alloy, Loki, Mimir)
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application-related issues and propose solutions
• Contribute to maintaining and improving documentation related to infrastructure and deployment processes

THE SKILLS THAT WILL GRAB OUR ATTENTION:

• Basic understanding of DevOps principles and practices
• Basic knowledge of networking, and Linux system administration
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Bitbucket
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

SKILLS CONSIDERED AS AN ADVANTAGE:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Slack, etc.)
