We're hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to play a key role in the continuous improvement and optimization of our established monitoring infrastructure. Collaborate with development teams, and contribute to our infrastructure automation efforts.
- Configure, set up, and optimize monitoring systems: Learn to set up and fine-tune tools like Grafana, PromQL, Grafana Mimir, and Loki
 - Support the development of monitoring solutions: Assist in creating and maintaining monitoring for key infrastructure components like servers, applications, and databases
 - Collect and analyze data: Help with collecting, analyzing, and visualizing metrics, logs, and events from different systems using Grafana and Loki
 - Proactively monitor system performance: Learn to configure alerting rules and notifications to help prevent potential incidents.
 - Identify anomalies and implement corrective actions: Under the guidance of senior engineers, you'll help identify issues and apply real-time fixes
 - Assist in developing automated solutions: Support the team's efforts to automate monitoring and data analysis processes
 - Maintain documentation: Help update and maintain documentation for monitoring solutions and best practices
 - Collaborate with teams: Work with infrastructure and development teams to optimize monitoring processes and data collection
 
- Foundational understanding of monitoring and logging tools and practices
 - Basic familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and network protocols
 - A willingness to learn and work with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts
 - Exposure to or a desire to learn about CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure as code tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible
 
- Academic or personal project experience with Linux, Python, or BASH scripting
 - Any prior experience with DevOps-related tools or concepts
