Currently, we are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal team and help us deal with cases from drafting and revising agreements to researching domestic and foreign law to ensure the company’s legal compliance in all business matters.

 

 

THE PERFECT TEAM MEMBER IS INSPIRED TO:

 

  • Draft, review, and revise a wide range of agreements with local and international service providers and vendors
  • Provide legal advice on a broad range of contract matters and general legal topics
  • Contribute to Amusnet’s international growth by participating in the incorporation process of new subsidiaries worldwide
  • Draft, review, and revise incorporation documents, as well as various corporate documents, management agreements, and intra-group agreements
  • Coordinate and complete pre-incorporation procedures such as KYC and AML procedures
  • Conduct research on corporate, employment, tax, and other legal matters under Bulgarian law, EU law, and other jurisdictions
  • Maintain communication with internal and external partners and stakeholders, and actively collaborate with external advisors
  • Undertake other duties and tasks consistent with the role of Legal Counsel

 


THE SKILLS THAT WILL GRAB OUR ATTENTION:

 

  • At least 4+ years of relevant post-graduate experience as in-house counsel and/or as an associate in a reputable full-service law firm
  • Proven experience in corporate, commercial, and contract law. Knowledge of other legal expertise areas, such as employment and/or tax law, will be treated as an added advantage
  • Proficiency in English; strong knowledge of another major language (i.e. Spanish, French) will be considered an advantage
  • Strong critical, analytical, and writing skills with keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter with independence in task planning and execution, capable of taking on a leadership role in assigned tasks and projects
  • Ability to make informed decisions under pressure by identifying task dependencies, assessing legal risks and benefits, and focusing on advancing business interests and objectives
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently to consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with legal team members, internal departments, other group companies, and external advisers
  • Motivated team player demonstrating a proactive approach to enhancing Amusnet’s processes and operations
