We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the efforts for an entirely new product vertical in our Land-based division. Be involved in all aspects of the hardware development process – from concept to finished product including selection of components, designing, PCB layout, prototyping, and design for mass production.   • Design, develop, and test embedded systems and components
  • Design hardware systems and components using blueprints, schematics and technical drawings
  • Explore new hardware set-ups, sensors and boards
  • Analyze existing requirements and prepare specifications
  • Work with software engineers, and explore the root cause of high-failure parts
  • Usе oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analyzers
  • Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
  • Architect and prototype new hardware products in collaboration with the existing hardware & software teams

 

 

The Skills That Will Grab Our Attention:

 

  • At least 5 years of experience in circuit design and multi layer PCB layout using CAD development tools (Altium will be considered as a strong advantage)
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge with electronics, schematics and development processes
  • Strong knowledge in hardware design standards and design for mass production
  • Experience in hardware architecture, system design, validation and board bring-up
  • Experience in designing boards that use ARM, Cortex-M or STM32 microcontrollers 

 

 

Skills Considered As An Advantage:

 

  • Experience in performing verification for Regulatory compliance (CE, UL EMI/EMC, etc.), Manufacturing (DFM) and Test (DFT)
  • Familiarity with developing and running embedded software
  • Designing battery powered, motor control or sensor boards
